Justin is an author and co-founder of Gather Ministries. He wrote the popular WiRE devotional for men, which has a 5-star rating and immediately became a #1 Amazon Best Seller in ‘Men’s Christian Living.’ He is also a co-founder of a small, early-stage venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley. During his time with the firm, he has had the opportunity to invest in some absolutely amazing entrepreneurs. Prior to CampVentures, Justin did a short stint as a corporate attorney for the Wall Street law firm of Cravath Swaine & Moore. In addition to a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, Justin graduated from UCLA with a degree in Economics and Political Science.
Justin loves writing. He especially loves working with Jennifer. When not working, he and Jen often head off into the wilderness with just their backpacks (and their three children). He and Jenn live near San Francisco.

Jennifer, co-founder of Gather Ministries, grew up in the middle of an almond orchard in Northern California. A former high school English teacher, she loves to write . . . but she especially loves to encourage people to seek and live out the truth of their story, their identity in Christ. After leading and teaching women’s ministry groups at her home church for ten years, Jennifer wanted to create a smaller, more intimate group—a safe place for women to gather, be vulnerable, and encourage each other in the sharing and living out their life with Christ.
Her heart to encourage God’s girls, and her love for writing and story-telling, prompted the creation of her blog. Her newest adventure with God, Loop, was stirred by Jennifer’s desire for women to listen to God’s voice, to be reminded of the truth of who they are.
Jennifer earned a teaching credential from UC Berkeley and a MA degree in English Education from Columbia, Teacher’s College, after graduating with a BA in English, at UCLA. She has been married to Justin for twenty years now, and they have three children. Justin is her buddy, her best friend, her partner, the one who shares her heart for adventure and seeking to live out the truth of God’s voice, gathered up in the community He brings.
